Tesla Car – The Future Is Coming

We all heard stories about Earth pollution very often and one of the biggest problems is air pollution. It looks like people are aware that the air we breathe contains gases, which are produced mostly by vehicles that we drive (about 60% of all carbon monoxide emissions and up to 95% in cities!)  Some of the biggest car companies has already prepared their “ecology cars” and here we will talk about Tesla Motors – company,specified for cars with electric engine. Could these kind of vehicles help us to solve the worldwide problem with the air pollution? We hope that the new time has come and that the other will follow this example for are own good.

Tesla Roadster is the first model produced by the company. Lets see what are the benefits of driving an electric car..

First of all and probably the most important is that this vehicle has a zero emissions which means that there is no pollution at all! Tires and the batteries of every Tesla Motors vehicle are recyclable! That should be the best reasons to by a car like this…

As you can see Tesla roadster has a great, little aggressive sport line, not very different from other sports cars.

You probably think that specific car like this should cost a lot, but price of this car is 109.000$ (in America) and 100.000 Euros (in Europe). Tesla roadster had began the series production on March 2008.

Performance:

This car can speed up from 0 to 60mph for 3.9 seconds (3.7 seconds for sport version) and has a electronically limited speed at 125mph. You will agree that this is really descent speed for a car with electric engine…

Transmission:

Single-speed gearbox with manual transmission. The Tesla Roadster has only one forward speed and that make him accelerate quick!

Engine:

Tesla’s engine is smaller then every car engine (weight about 115 pounds and size of a watermelon), and have efficiencies of 85 to 95 percent.

The Tesla Roadster has smooth leather seats and very nice design from inside. You can just setback and enjoy the ride.

Charging:

All you need is the High Power Connector unit that enables you to charge this car at home like you charge your cell phone! You can drive about 220 miles with full baterries, and that’s about 1 cent per mile.You need about 3.5 hours to fill the battery..
