RM Auctions makes its return to Battersea Evolution for the 2008 Automobiles of London auction.

You’ll find all sorts, from a 1924 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost to a modified Suzuki Wagon R, but inevitably the cars wearing a Prancing Horse will be the main highlights.

There’s a 1965 Ferrari 250LM (estimated to fetch £2.5-2.8 million), a 1985 288 GTO (£280-340,000) and one of the last three short wheelbase 250 GT California Spiders off the production line (£3-3.5 million) up for grabs.

A 1997 McLaren F1 is also up for auction and expected to top the million pound mark. If that’s a bit of a stretch, a 1998 Mini Cooper S Works is also on sale – with a more modest £6-8000 estimated price tag.
