Gothic Fails

I’m not a goth myself and most of these looked quite cool. Some exceptions obviously…

Eh… I think the goth ‘thing’ to me comes down to a question of authenticity or image… Authentic – Poe, HP Lovecraft, Gaimen, (and maybe the early Brit, post-punk, pre-pop somewhat original bands like The Cure or The Smiths… or is it Image “goth” – M. Manson, and every other Pop artist who reeeeally try hard to fool people to think they’re not ‘pop’ but sell out to Viacom (Mtv), Columbia, etc… all the while having their sales #’s mathematically computed in ratio to their public image persona to draw in fans who soooo want to feel connected and think they’re alone in the world (news flash, everyone feels alone)… and eventually you end up with just a shell of “goth” image void of any true meaning of the word internally… end up judging others based around clothes, music, etc… and never recognize the hypocrisy they encompass. All that’s besides my point though… READ some Lovecraft and Poe and Gaimen people!!!  That is all. :)

This is really offensive….I am goth myself and some of the people on these pictures aren’t exactly what I would call pretty but I wouldn’t judge them. A lot of the people on these images are very pretty and awesome….the first image for example..I would dress like both of those two o-o

Whoever made this needs to get a life, a lot of these people aren’t even goths…some of them look like cosplayers. one of the girls was obviously half based around the original pagen style or gypsy.
