You have to love epic and fantasy props! Here are some swords that I found around and really loved. Lets say that Fantasy Sword is my favorite in this list. Which one is yours?

every thing is the way it would be on a real sword evcept the grip cause i cant draw or render the grip cord

with the way my life is going now this may be the last sword i ever up load to da so it might as well be the epic sword of awesomeness

ps when i say “the way my like is going” i mean that i have run dry on sword disigns there may be a few more but they will be few and far between

as for guns … i dont realy like draing those to much any more
i cant think of any way to make guns realy any diffrent dont tell any one but irishdragon357 and i are in the middle of making a manga (mcdraw = big anime fan)
he has a lot of the stuff like picthers of chars on his page and i have some of the stuff on my page to keep an eye out for that

The shadowknight epic, along with the necromancer one, was one of the most difficult meshes I had had to make at the time. The bones and horns and organic nature of it really precluded doing things the old fashioned way. So, of course, I cheated.

Im not the most talented modeler (I have never had any formal training) but I am a bit clever, and using the texture to do the work for me, the final mesh only had to be as complicated as the render shows.

Heres a sword that I made as a model just to work out some kinks and ideas…

YES thank you for all the comments about how fragile it is and that it would break at the hilt and could never be used as a real sword. For all of those people, dont forget to search cloud’s final fantasy sword and mention its too big for someone to use. For that matter, search for light sabers and comment on how its impossible technology, or how the grim reapers scythe handle would snap under the weight of the blade.

Im aware of the design limitations, its a fantasy sword, but dear jesus, thanks for the concern.

So i got the decal of the sword and aplied it with a bump map also. Now i can say that i finished this project, although i left out some details on the arm guard and at the grip.

The sword has 180500 polys and it took 30 minutes to render on a P4 3.2 EE.

the design didn’t really come out the way i had planned it but this works too… ;p
decided to do away with the symmetry like in the orginal design and just change the head into something more………POINTY
