It is a Robot Dragonfly which I designed a year ago, but have only recently made. I used 3Ds max to create the model and used Vray plugin for max to render it.

Wasp - Back

I’m proud to present “The Wasp” As you can imagine this is a robot derived from the common garden wasp (yellow jacket if your in the USA, we just call them wasps here in the UK)

Simple, had fun building this mech, although I dont think I can take much more photos of wasps, beginning to feel ill. lol
This piece is part of the same Spider Xenon family of mechs. Comments welcome as always. There will be 2 special edition steel onces posted aswell.

I’m proud to present “The Wasp Special Edition 2″ As you can imagine this is a robot derived from the common garden wasp (yellow jacket if your in the USA, we just call them wasps here in the UK)

This particular render has been put together using custom made materials by myself allowing it to be a special edition. These materials are the most complex to acheive the effects they have with these renders. I hope you like them.
