Greatest warriors of all time?
I think Knights would give samurai a run for their money.
Knights have also been represented at least as much in digital media.
The scraiest stories are of knights lances impaling 5 people at one as they charge, and then the knight dismounted being able to fight 11 footmen at once.

In terms of swordsmanship,the samurai wins hands down.
In terms of equipment,the katana wins in the sword category but the knight wins in terms of armour.
Both sides have awesome lore.
It’s too close to call a winner,and both styles have something you can use to improve your own swordsmanship.
P.S.
However we can all agree there is no point in fencing…fencing is just glorified needlework and a horrible sword(if you can call it a sword,more like a long toothpick protruding from the cap of a toothpick container with your hand gripping the underside of the toothpick from behind the toothpick container cap)style all round.
